‘Shadows House’ Anime Adaptation Season Scheduled

A new anime adaptation is in the works that definitely sounds intriguing with Shadows House. Announced previously, we’ve been getting some solid detail for it over the last few months. After an update just before the end of the year, the official site has now updated to reveal that the series has been slotted as part of the spring season with an April 2021 debut set.

Additionally, Kazuki Ohashi is set to direct it based on the scripts by Toshiya Ono. Chizuko Kusakabe is on board with the character designs with CloverWorks handling the animation production.

The leads are cast with Akari Kito as Kate and Yu Sasahara as Emiriko.

The manga comes from creator team So-ma-to which began in 2018 in Weekly Young Jump and has six volumes to its name so far as of October 2020.

Plot Concept: Set in a Western-style mansion on a cliff and centers the aristocratic, it focuses on the faceless Shadow family. They live together with lifelike doll attendants who serve as their faces. The story focuses on the daily lives of the house’s inhabitants and gradually reveals its mysteries.
