The KanColle property has had some solid releases with the previous series and the feature film, but we were promised more material way back in 2015 that still hasn’t come to fruition when it comes to the TV side. While we’re not holding them to more TV material, the folks behind the property have indicated that they are making progress with more anime with studio ENGI and Kadokawa. The plan at the moment is that the new show would air sometime in 2022. Check out the new year’s visual they released below.
Check out our review of the series.

Plot concept: Fubuki is a Special Type Destroyer who has just been assigned to the Naval District. With a grand total of zero battles under her belt, she’s sure to sink fast under the pressure of expectation. Luckily, she’s grouped with Torpedo Squadron Three, and they’re ready to support their new comrade. Together, they’ll prove they have what it takes to defend the ocean and win it all for humanity!
