The winter 2021 anime season of the Non Non Biyori Nonstop as a property makes its debut on January 10th, 2021. With Sentai Filmworks having picked up the previous seasons and recently released the movie, it’s no surprise that they’ve acquired the third season as well. The distributor will bring out a home video release later and will be distributing it to select digital outlets as part of the winter 2021 season.
Sentai’s licensed territory includes the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Scandinavia, the Netherlands, Aland Islands, Portugal, Spain, and Latin America.
The same as the first two series, this one was directed by Shinya Kawatsura based on the overall composition by Reiko Yoshida who also wrote the scripts alongside Fumihiko Shimo and Yuka Yamada. Mai Otsuka served as the character design and the project was animated at Silver Link.
For this season, nano.RIPE is performing “Tsugihahi Moyo” as the opening theme song while the actors in character are forming the ending theme song with “Tadaima.”

Plot concept: When Hotaru moves from Tokyo to a tiny town in the rural countryside, she’s in for some serious culture shock: the nearest place that sells comics is 20 minutes away, the nearest video store is ten train stations down the line, and there are only three other girls and one boy in her entire school! Even though everything’s so different, there’s something about the laid-back atmosphere that makes her feel strangely comfortable. While she’ll certainly miss parts of her old life, there’s a whole lifetime of experiences waiting to be enjoyed with her new friends Renge, Komari, Natsumi, and Suguru! In the end, it’s who you’re with, not where you are, that makes a place your home!
