Fans of InuYasha are getting ready to make a big upgrade with this series as its previous run as single DVD releases that were an average of three episodes per disc really drew it out and made it expensive, so this will be a deal no matter what.
With the first set with a July 14th, 2020 debut where it’ll have the first 27 episodes of the series, and follow-up sets every few months after that, the next release is now set. Scheduled for a March 2nd, 2021 debut, the fourth set includes the clean opening and closing as its extras as well as character profiles and introductions and an audio commentary for episode 103. The set will be priced at $39.99 and will be spread across four discs in 1080p in its original full-frame aspect ratio. This set will have episodes 84 through 111.
Plot concept: Modern-day schoolgirl Kagome and half-demon Inuyasha and friends continue their quest through feudal-era Japan to find and vanquish the evil demon Naraku and gather all the shards of the Shikon Jewel. Along the way, they are befriended and bedeviled by an array of characters: Koga of the wolf-demon tribe, mischievous magic-wielding monkey sprites, and an old-lady exorcist of questionable abilities.
