A new anime adaptation is winging its way to us in 2021 with the World’s End Harem manga getting the nod. Announced in May 2020, we’ve gotten a steady stream of updates on it and now a new one has landed. As part of the Jump Festa ’21 event, a trailer was revealed for it and that’s now made its way online to check out below.

The series will be directed by Yuu Nobuta based on the scripts coming from Tatsuya Takahashi. Masaru Koseki is handling the character designs with Studio Gokumi and AXsiZ handling the animation production. A key visual was released as well that you can see below.

The Japanese cast includes:

  • Taichi Ichikawa as Reito Mizuhara
  • Haruka Shiraishi as Mira Suō
  • Yō Taichi as Akane Ryūzōji
  • Aya Yamane as Sui Yamada

The manga comes from Kotaro Shono and has eleven volumes out so far in Japan. The property began serialization in May 2016 through the Shonen Jump+ site and app. The manga, and its spinoff series, are both being released in English through Seven Seas Entertainment under its Ghost Ship imprint.

Plot Concept: The Man-Killer Virus: a lethal disease that has eradicated 99.9% of the world’s male population. Mizuhara Reito has been in cryogenic sleep for the past five years, leaving behind Tachibana Erisa, the girl of his dreams. When Reito awakens from the deep freeze, he emerges into a sex-crazed new world where he himself is the planet’s most precious resource. Reito and four other male studs are given lives of luxury and one simple mission: repopulate the world by impregnating as many women as possible! All Reito wants, however, is to find his beloved Erisa who went missing three years ago. Can Reito resist temptation and find his one true love?
