‘Gekidol’ Anime Sets New Music Video

The multimedia project for the Gekidol anime has updated its official site with some welcome new details. The show recently revealed a premiere date of January 5th, 2020 on AT-X before it rolls out to other locations. Now, it’s updated with a new music video for the character of Seria Morino, as played by Hikaru Akao, with the song “Deandelion Girl” for the series. It provides a good bit of new footage not seen in the previous promotional videos.

The series itself is scheduled for the January 2021 season where Shigure Ueda is directing it based on the scripts overseen by chief writer Keiichiro Ochi. Asami Sekiya is handling the character designs and serving as the chief animation director with Hoods Entertainment handling the production.

The Japanese cast includes:

Plot Concept: The anime takes place five years after a mysterious disaster happened that erased major cities around the world. The anime centers on girls who want to be a part of the 3D-holoraphic “Theater Material System” theatrical productions.
