While the form that this new anime project will be taking has not been revealed yet, we learned back in December 2019 about a new entry in the Gridman universe with SSSS.Dynazenon. The new project from Tsuburaya and Trigger is set for a TV series that’s now planned for an April 2021 debut. With that in mind, a new round of cast additions have been revealed along with a new promo for the project.
The Japanese cast includes:
- Daiki Hamano as Gauma
- Junya Enoki as Yomogi Asanaka
- Shion Wakayama as Yume Minami
- Yuichiro Umehara as Koyomi Yamanaka
- Chika Anzai as Chise Asukagawa
The new additions include:
- Hiroshi Kamiya as Jyuga
- Yūma Uchida as Onijya
- Ayaka Suwa as Mujina
- Kouki Uchiyama Shizumu
- Mariya Ise as Inamoto
- Azusa Tadokoro as Mei
- Jin Ogasawara as Awaki
- Gakuto Kajiwara as Nazumi
- Rio Tsuchiya as Ranka
- Hikaru Tohno as Kaneishi
It lists the original team from Gridman here but isn’t clear that they’re returning for this one. That has Satoru Amemiya directing based on the screenplay by Junichi Hasegawa. Masaru Sakamoto on character designs with Trigger handling the animation production.
