Saya’s story has been decent so far with what it’s been through and she’s worked decently as a character for it. Here, she does a nice job celebrating “our” return home after taking a particular test and wanting to be positive about it. Of course, her being there has us upset about her going into the place and all and it turns into apologies before it shifts to something a little more general. It’s an awkward situation overall and Saya’s really not sure of how to handle it, though the way it turns into his taking her out for a date of sorts works to her advantage. Which she naturally overdresses for when they get to it but it’s a fun time in the city and they’re certainly cute enough together.

In Summary:
The pair even get a nice oceanside trip to a ferris wheel with the enclosed carriages at sunset, which really drives home the romantic aspect of it in a big way. There’s a lot but steady coming clean with things here as he makes it clear that he’s glad she’s single and so forth, and it’s just nice seeing the kidneys of reactions that come from her with it as the two spend some really good time together. Of course, it has end in a way that’s not going to go well for one of them in the next episode and that’s a little upsetting.
