The upcoming third season of this property is set for a January 2021 debut with Non Non Biyori Nonstop as the title. It’s not been a project with a lot of promotion or detail previously because it’s essentially everyone coming back for more. With that in mind, the latest update has brought us our third key visual as we get a winter season to the right now and we also have a new promotional video. This comes with a formalized premiere date of January 10th, 2021.
For this season, nano.RIPE is performing “Tsugihahi Moyo” as the opening theme song while the actors in character are forming the ending theme song with “Tadaima.”
With the main cast returning, it’s also been revealed that the main staff will also be returning to it.
The first two series were directed by Shinya Kawatsura based on the overall composition by Reiko Yoshida who also wrote the scripts alongside Fumihiko Shimo and Yuka Yamada. Mai Otsuka served as the character design and the project was animated at Silver Link.

The anime is based on the manga by Atto that began in 2009 under Media Factory, which has eleven volumes so far. Seven Seas Entertainment has the North American license for the manga.

Plot concept: When Hotaru moves from Tokyo to a tiny town in the rural countryside, she’s in for some serious culture shock: the nearest place that sells comics is 20 minutes away, the nearest video store is ten train stations down the line, and there are only three other girls and one boy in her entire school! Even though everything’s so different, there’s something about the laid-back atmosphere that makes her feel strangely comfortable. While she’ll certainly miss parts of her old life, there’s a whole lifetime of experiences waiting to be enjoyed with her new friends Renge, Komari, Natsumi, and Suguru! In the end, it’s who you’re with, not where you are, that makes a place your home!
