HBO Max Showcases Crazy Jane’s Most Badass Personalities From ‘Doom Patrol’ In This Extended Clip

The most screwed up heroes will be back for more.

The DC Universe streaming service and HBO Max worked through the second season of the property this summer but the season was cut short by an episode due to the pandemic. That made it feel like it was a lock for a third season but if 2020 has taught us anything, don’t count on anything. So it was welcome news that as part of the second DC FanDome, HBO Max revealed that it has picked up the third season of the series and that it’ll be exclusive to the service. It’s expected to have a 2021 return.

With that in mind, the streaming service is doing some good promotion here and there for the series and this one focuses on the character of Jane and a handful of her 64 personalities – each with unique powers – and how they’ve fit into the series so far.

The cast includes Timothy Dalton as Niles Caulder, Jake Michaels as Robotman, Dwain Murphy as Negative Man, Diane Guerrero as Crazy Lane, Brendan Fraser as Robotman, and April Bowlby is playing Elasti-Girl.

Plot Concept: DC’s strangest group of heroes — Cliff Steele aka Robotman (Brendan Fraser), Larry Trainor aka Negative Man (Matt Bomer), Rita Farr aka Elasti-Woman (April Bowlby), Jane aka Crazy Jane (Diane Guerrero), and Victor Stone aka Cyborg (Joivan Wade) — are back again to save the world. That is, if they can find a way to grow up…both figuratively and literally. Following the defeat of Mr. Nobody, the members of the Doom Patrol now find themselves mini-sized and stranded on Cliff’s toy race car track. Here they begin to deal with their feelings of betrayal by Niles Caulder aka The Chief (Timothy Dalton), while confronting their own personal baggage. And as each member faces the challenge of growing beyond their own past traumatic experiences, they must come together to embrace and protect the newest member of the family: Dorothy Spinner (Abigail Shapiro), Niles’ daughter, whose powers remain a mysterious but real threat to bringing on the end of the world.
