Bandai Reveals Compact ‘Gundam Build Divers Re:RISE’ Anime Blu-ray Collection Artwork

The Gundam Build property has been running for quite a few years now with no signs of slowing down and the folks at Bandai have decided that it’s time for a slew of compact releases. With one that’s a special Bandai store exclusive, we have the end of this year and early next year bringing out compact editions of Gundam Build Divers along with Fighters and Try in priced down sets that are generally 10,000 yen each. The store exclusive obviously goes for some kit inclusion as it comes in at 50,000 yen. With the releases getting closer, we now have the first three releases debuting their cover artwork and packaging for the Re:RISE run.

Property Concept:  The story is set in the near future when GunPla Battles, competitions that pit Gundam plastic models against each other, have become popular worldwide in the “Second GunPla Boom.” Sei Iori, a first-year middle-school student and the only son of a model shop owner, is talented at building GunPla, but inexperienced in the GunPla Battles. He encounters a mysterious boy named Reiji, who happens to be an accomplished Gundam Fighter. Together, they strive for the GunPla Battle world championships.
