The summer 2018 anime series Miss caretaker of Sunohara-sou wrapped up awhile ago and it now some new distribution is set up for it. Australian distributor Madman Entertainment has now set a January 13th, 2021 debut for their Blu-ray release of the series. The bilingual set will be priced at $64.95 and spread across two discs with extras to be determined.

Shin Oonuma served as the chief director with Mirai Minato directing based on the series composition by Fumihiko Shimo. Kazuya Hirata worked on the character designs with Silver Link dealing with the animation production.

The Japanese cast iincludes Rina Satou as Ayaka Sunohara, Eri Kitamura as Aki Shiina, Ayane Sakura as Nana, Natsumi Takamori as Yuzu Yukimoto, Asami Seto as Sumire Yamanashi, Yume Miyamoto as Yuri Kazami, Shizuka Itou as Nishiki Yao, Ai Kayano as Matsuri Shiina, Megumi Nakajima as Maiko Osonoi, and Juri Nagatsuma as Ichia Naito.

The property originally began in 2014 as serialized in Manga 4-Koma Palette and the TV series didn’t seem to make too much of an impact on the sales of the manga long-term. The manga ended on February 22nd, 2020 and both the remaining volumes of the manga were released in April 2020.

Plot Concept: Feminine-featured Shiina Aki is at odds with his masculinity. To fix this, he heads to Tokyo to attend a new school and to meet new people—the living situation was bound to be weird but not this weird! Now Aki’s the only boy among three older female classmates—and he’s totally crushing on his voluptuous dorm room caretaker!
