
The fall 2019 anime adaptation of the manga series Hokago Saikoro Club from Hiro Nakamichi received a simulcast and simuldub from Funimation under the name After School Dice Club. With their home video release due out next month, Madman Entertainment has scheduled an Australian release as well that’s now set for a December 9th, 2020 debut. It’s a Blu-ray-only release priced at $64.95 that has the twelve-episode series spread across two discs in the set in bilingul form. Extras include:

The show has Kenichi Imaizumi directing based on the series composition by Atsushi Maekawa. Yukiko Ibe is on board with the character designs for it with LIDEN FILMS handling the animation production.
The main Japanese cast includes Saki Miyashita as Miki, Marika Kōno as Aya, Miyu Tomita as Midori, Takaya Kuroda as Takeru Kinjo, M.A.O. as Emilia, Kōhei Amasaki as Shota Tanoue, Shun Horie as Ryūji Yoshioka, Taku Yashiro as Yūto Aoshi, Kotori Koiwai as Ren Shibusawa, Hisako Tōjō as Hana Takayashiki, and Eriko Matsui as Kyōko Maki.
The manga began in 2013 in the magazine and it has fourteen volumes out so far in Japan.
This series features the opening song “Present Moment” by Miyu Tomita and the ending theme song “On the Board” by Aya (Marika Kouno), Miki (Saki Miyashita), Midori (Miyu Tomita), which you can check out below!

Plot Concept: The story focuses on Aya, who moves and starts to attend an all-girls high school in Kyoto. Her first friend is her reserved classmate Miki. After school one day, the committee chairwoman Midori takes them both to an analog game specialty shop called “Saikoro Club” (Dice Club). There, they start playing a German board game without thinking. Thus begins Aya and Miki’s search for fun through the world of analog games.
