The last installment of this cute series didn’t do much for me and fell pretty flat but the beauty of such a series is that the next episode can go in a completely different direction and work wonderfully. This one plays up the test of courage angle as we get the kids headed out to partake in this and there’s some real competition since some are doing their best to hide how scared they are. There are lots of cute quirks in setting it all up just before they head into the darkened woods. There’s some fun in the overall arguing that goes on and how their personalities come across while trying to survive the test of courage that makes for some good laughs.
In Summary:
Though this is a very familiar thing that we see many shows working through, this one executes it without a problem and manages to cram a lot of character and story material into its three-minute running time. So much so that it really feels like it’s twice as long with as many bits and gags as they go through and the laughs it generates.
