Madman Schedules ‘Arifureta – From Commonplace to World’s Strongest’ Anime Regular & Limited Edition Releaes

The summer 2019 anime series Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest is finding its way to another home video release plan as Australian distributor Madman Entertainment has set their schedule for it. The series will be out in regular and limited edition form on November 4th, 2020 priced at $64.95 and $119.95 respectively. Both will be bilingual sets with two discs for the thirteen-episode run. Extras include:

  • Twitter Picture Drama
  • Promo Videos, Commercials
  • Textless Opening and Closing Songs

The Limited Edition includes:

  • Limited Edition Packaging
  • 6 art cards

  • 40-paged softcover art book including voice actor interviews
  • 2 exclusive enamel pins that double as lapel pins and cufflinks

Kinji Yoshimoto is directing with Kazuyuki Fudeyasu working on the series composition. White Fox is joined by asread in producing the animation.

The Japanese cast includes Toshinari Fukamachi as Hajime Nagumo, Yuuki Kuwahara as Yue, Minami Takahashi as Shea Haulia, Saori Onishi as Kaori Shirasaki, Yumiri Hanamori as Shizuku Yaegashi, Yōko Hikasa as Tio Klarus, Tetsuya Kakihara as Kōki Amanogawa, Ai Kakuma as Aiko Hatayama, and Minoru Shiraishi as Daisuke Hiyama.

The light novels come from writer Ryou Shirakome and illustrator TakayaKi, which has J-Novel Club releasing digitally and Seven Ses Entertainment releasing in physical form. The series has nine volumes out.

The project was originally going to be directed by Jun Kamiya based on the series composition by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu while Atsuo Tobe will be handling the character designs. White Fox is on board to produce the animation.

The series features the song “FLARE” by Void_Chords feat.LIO.

Plot Concept: When a classroom of students is transported to another world to act as its saviors, Hajime Nagumo finds himself the weakest link. As his friends and classmates are granted strong classes and impressive abilities due to their existing skills, he is given the weak title of Synergist. When a dungeon quest leaves him separated from his group, Hajime must discover his own talents or be left to rot in this world forever.
