Content (please note that content portions of a review may contain spoilers):

The World Tag Survival tournament is beginning, however as Bellezza selects Tirol to participate, they pair her up with a venal mercenary by the name of Ryuuka who has no respect for her partner, and neither seems willing to cooperate within their first match against the team of Al-Menace. But as the dragon wrestler enters the ring and warns her junior about the conniving methods of Nubi, the head embalmer for their competition who enjoys mummifying losers and adding them to her harem, she finds herself going against the sadistic woman’s latest creation by the name of Raimmi. However as this indifferent rival faces off against the lizard woman, her foe’s lazy attitude quickly causes Ryuuka to lose her temper and launch one of her most powerful attacks, a fiery blast which most certainly will be the end for a bandage wrapped opponent. But as the flame quickly approaches, the voluptuous animated corpse calmly pulls off her hand and retaliates with a massive wave of sand, easily extinguishing the fire and throwing her foe out of the ring.

While is everyone confounded by how this mummy was able to easily douse such an overwhelming flame attack, Raimmi pays them no mind and instead relishes in being compliment by her master due to her success, who then addresses the walking corpse as her greatest masterpiece. It is Tirol who questions why a partner would treat her companion like an object, to which the jackal eared woman seductively voices the obvious answer – she was the one who created her, so why not use her as a tool? As such, Nubi rewards her teammate with a prize in keeping with her perverted nature: a passionate and lust-filled kiss, which causes Cerberus to blush at the audacity of this public display of perverted affection, with all gathered shocked by this turn of events. But it is Ryuuka who is the most incensed by this overt sexual act, calling their carnal exhibition a desecration of the hallowed ring, enraging the dragon woman to launch into a devastating series of attacks. With the mummy now unable to defend herself, Raimmi finds herself easily stunned which leads to an unbeatable pinning combination, but as the referee begins a three count, Nubi breaks the undesired contest by throwing in a nearby sarcophagus. However as the mummy attempts to apologize for her carelessness, the ruthless predator begins to show her true colors as she coldly berates this failure of a wrestler and raises the subservient creation, ruthlessly choking with one hand this useless woman. All assembled question as they watch the unpleasant scene, wondering if these two are actually partners in this match or if one is property and the other a callous master who is punishing a defective tool.

In Summary:

While Monster Wrestling: Interspecies Combat Girls attempts to keep the title focused within the world of professional wrestling, especially within the opening narrative by showing how callous people can be in wanting to win at any cost, one cannot deny the true draw for the series: seductively depicting sexy humanoids who expose as much curvaceous flesh as possible. And yet at the same time, this volume finally begins to anchor itself within the underlying basis of the story – to allow Tirol to become stronger under Kayla’s training and develop herself into a formidable fighter, all while understanding the ever-changing standards of her new world. However while the lighthearted comedic scenes attempt to divert our attention, readers cannot ignore the wanton fan service displayed upon every panel in all of its scantily clad allure. While the series is entertaining to see Cerberus and her friends’ ridiculous antics, you cannot forget what makes this book a Mature title: plenty of tempestuous female flesh barely covered by gravity-defying costumes, punishments for disobedience with slimy tentacles and suggestive bondage poses and finally all of the convenient shots at captivating angles. Although the excitement and amusement are noticeable distractions, readers cannot but question how these lewd images have managed to stay away from the softcore hentai intentions which are illustrated upon each single image.
