There is no better way to describe what happens to Naputaaku then to say he’s been Yamcha’d.

Content: (please note that content portions of a review may contain spoilers):
New characters are always a weird mix in comedy manga. But Izuma is just the perfect member to join this cast. The Holy Knights that were mentioned in Chapter 1 finally make an appearance. Izuma is a member of the Holy Knights and wants to hunts down evil gods. He looks for them in the most random places such as a garden and jumps down a well. Why would any god be down in a well? Ruru is attracted to his weird behavior and follows him to see what he does.

Magu-chan is hiding inside Ruru’s bag and takes her food. Izuma mistakes him as a talking animal. This is just what this series needed. Another dumb character to get taken in by this crazy countryside town. Most people would communicate with each other by smartphone nowadays, right? Well, Izuma doesn’t and he uses a pigeon to deliver and send messages. He gives it to Ruru in case she gets any information about the evil gods. While this is happening, the evil god, Magu-chan, is right next to them trying to catch a butterfly.

Naputaaku has reassembled his crab army and is scavenging through Ren’s trashcan. Ren catches him and Magu-chan makes fun of him for going through a trashcan. Naputaaku is about to fight Magu-chan but Izuma jumps out of nowhere to step on the poor creature. He screams where is the evil god but doesn’t realize that he is stepping on him. Naputaaku picks a fight with Izuma. I wish he would learn but he is fishbait. Izuma summons a magical sword and unleashes a thunderbolt upon the poor creature.

Magu-chan draws Izuma’s attention by revealing his true identity. Izuma uses his sword to use another magic attack, Gale Slash, to cut Magu-chan and the road. It poses no threat to Magu-chan as he just reassembles his body and called Izuma a weak representation for a holy knight. This fires up Izuma but before he could do anything else the police arrive. The police had gotten a call that someone was harassing wildlife. He admits to destroying the road and the police take him away. He is screaming at the tops of his lungs that he will save Ruru and defeat Magu-chan.

In Summary:
There is no better way to describe what happens to Naputaaku then to say he’s been Yamcha’d. It looks exactly the same as the Yamcha’d death scene. It was such a fun scene to see. I am starting to feel bad Naputaaku as he gets the worst fate in each chapter. But it makes for good comedy.

Izuma meshes well with the cast of this series. Everyone else is so laidback and he has a hot pursuit of his goal of justice. This manga can be comedic with a dash of action. Izuma reveals that there are at least five pillars that can be considered wicked gods. So far two have been revealed and I want to see how the other three will create an impact on this series.
