With a secondary book related to Yes ka No ka Hanbun ka out that deals with various writings about the main series from Michi Ichiho, we learned at the end of October 2019 that an anime adaptation is in the works. It was unclear at the time what format it would take but it’s now been revealed to be a film that will get limited screenings in the winter 2020 season with promotion for it coming just before the roll-out. Now, the first trailer for it has arrived and the confirmation of a December 2020 theatrical debut in Japan for it.
The cast from the drama CD will be returning with Atsushi Abe as Kei Kunieda and Yoshihisa Kawahara as Ushio Tsuzuki.
The boys-love novel began in 2014 with artwork from Lala Takemiya.

Plot Concept: The story follows Kei Kunieda, a young and popular TV announcer who maintains a perfect facade in his professional life, but privately curses everyone around him as incompetent fools. However, a certain circumstance allows animation writer Ushio Tsuzuki to discover Kei’s more acerbic side.
