The Weekly Comics Discussion Post For August 9th, 2020

After working through a good run of books last week and seeing new things starting to hit, we’re definitely feeling the comics vibe again. With the publishers coming back online and distribution opening up, we’ve got more new books coming in soon that will get people talking again. The folks at Diamond have their look at what’s coming out on August 12th as well here.

The week that was had a variety of news items to it with some fun new announcements of books coming later this year. This week we got to see what the top twenty comics of the second quarter were and will be seeing monthly listings starting next month as well. Marvel set their Black Widow series while “canceling” or putting on hiatus their Black Cat series. They also nixed the most recent Ghost Rider series.
