It’s been a few years since we had the last series in the Tomica toy line but now a new one is coming up this spring with Tomica Bond Combination Earth Granner. The series launched with an April 2020 debut as part of Tomica’s 50th-anniversary event and it looks like some of the home video releases snuck out previously. The first three episodes were released as a single DVD back on April 29th, 2020 priced at 2,000 yen. The next box set is scheduled for a September 2nd, 2020 debut where it’ll have episodes four through fifteen for it priced at 4,000 yen and we now have the cover artwork for it!
Shinji Ushiro is directing based on the scripts from Yuka Yamada. Yuko Inoue is handling the character designs with OLM handling the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes:
- Shizuka Ishigami and Haruna Sakurai as twin brothers Raiga Kudō and Kūga Kudō
- Nobuyuki Hiyama and Satoshi Hino play Gao Granner Leo and Gao Granner Eagle
- Jun Fukuyama as Gō Mach

Plot Concept: The series deals with battles between the mysterious alien enemy Dark Spinner and the secret defense unit Earth Granner over Earth Energy, the energy generated from the Earth’s rotation.
