This week, Idea Factory International announced an iffy-cial website update that shared details about the Episode Chart for the upcoming horror-inspired RPG, Death end re;Quest 2! Will you keep the characters alive, or reap the benefits of their Death Ends? The choice is yours.

Death end re;Quest 2 launches for the PlayStation®4 on August 25 in North America and August 28 in Europe! The Steam® version will release worldwide on August 18.

The Steam version will contain the original Glitch costumes for the first game’s characters and will have English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese subtitles. The first game’s characters only appear in their Glitch costumes during battle and in the main menu. The Steam version will implement the original Glitch costumes in both instances.

Synopsis: Players will see the story through the eyes of Mai Toyama, as she searches for her younger sister in the mysterious town of Le Choara. The town has many hidden secrets that players will begin to discover over time, and may even run into a few familiar characters.

In search of his beloved sister in the town of Le Choara, Mai meets and builds relationships with a wide cast of characters in Wordsworth Dormitory – an all-girl’s dormitory for troubled and orphaned young women. Oddly enough, Mai’s sister wasn’t the only one missing, as other people started to strangely disappear into thin air.

Will Mai uncover the truths behind the disappearances in order to save herself and her friends or will they become lost to the darkness?

Check out the character profiles here!

In the Episode Chart, players can view descriptions of each previously played event, along with a timestamp for each Death End found. Check the episode chart to claim items granted for following different episode paths.

Please note that the Episode Chart is used as a point of reference. Players cannot jump back to previous scenes; therefore, it is recommended to save often.

Dying in battle isn’t the only way to Game Over in Death end re;Quest 2. Making the wrong choice when interacting with Le Choara and its bizarre inhabitants can result in a grisly demise.

Quick save before making decisions to give yourself the chance to explore all possible paths. After each Game Over, players can return to the moment just prior to selecting. Each previously-made selection is checked off, keeping track of all explored paths.

Add the Death end re;Quest 2 Limited Edition to your wishlist today! The Limited Edition will be available for preorder soon for $99.99 and qualifies for free US domestic shipping! Customers can choose between the PlayStation 4 or Steam versions. Steam users can purchase the Steam Deluxe Pack for $9.99 upon launch.
