Marvelous Reveals First ‘Yu-Gi-Oh! Sevens’ Anime DVD/BD LE Release Artwork

The next series in this franchise is getting its home video releases set with Yu-Gi-Oh! Sevens. The spring 2020 series now has its first collection set for an October 28th, 2020 debut where it’ll feature the first thirteen episodes. The DVD set is priced at 17,800 yen while the Blu-ray set is priced at 19,800 yen. With the set still a good bit away, the first look at the cover for its packaging has been revealed and it’s definitely one that feels like a great fit for the property.

Extras for both include a booklet, the clean opening, clean closing, and a commentary of some sort.

The show will be directed by Nobuhiro Kondo based on the scripts overseen by Toshimitsu Takeuchi. Kazuko Tadano and Hiromi Matsushita are the character designers on it with studio Bridge handling the animation production.

The Japanese cast includes:

  • Hiiro Ishibashi as Yūga Ōdō
  • Taku Yashiro as Tatsuhisa Kamijō
  • Natsuki Hanae as Gakuto Sōgetsu
  • Tomori Kusunoki as Romin Kirishima

Plot Concept: The series takes place in the future in the town of Gōha. Yūga Ōdō, a fifth-grade student, loves both inventions and dueling. His classmate Luke is a self-styled “number one duelist at Gōha 7 Elementary School.” Gakuto is the school’s student council president, and Romin is Yūga’s classmate.
