Crunchyroll previously picked up a new simulcast for a series back in March with Zo Zo Zombie. The show was in its English-dubbed form as that was what was being marketed to most services at the time as the show also ended up on a few other places. Now, the thirteen-episode series has its original Japanese language version available with English subtitles, giving folks a chance to see it in that form.
They’ll then bring out new episodes weekly after that. Episodes clock in at three minutes each and will be available to viewers in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, and the Middle East.
The series is based on the manga of the same name by Yasunari Nagatoshi that Yen Press has licensed and released. It began in 2012 and has eleven volumes released before wrapping up in 2018.
Plot Concept: Zo Zo Zombie is the best undead friend you never had! Who else could use his own intestines as a jump rope or peel his own skin to use as a coat? Together with his best [human] friend Isamu, Zo Zo Zombie is just trying to do some good in this world but somehow always ends up in pieces. Literally.
