
Released last year with a September 20th, 2019 debut, the home video plans have landed for the Hello World anime feature film in Hong Kong. Distributor Neofilms has revealed a July 24th, 2020 debut for the DVD and Blu-ray sets where it’ll have the fil in Japanese with Chinese and English subtitles for about $22 depending on exchange rates at the moment. No extras are currently listed with it.
The Japanese release with its limited edition comes with a bonus disc that includes a visual commentary of the film. The main disc comes with an event video collection, various promos, and a booklet.
It comes from director Tomohiko Ito based on the screenplay by Mado Nozaki. Yukiko Horiguchi handled the character designs with Graphicina handling the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes Minami Hamabe as Ruri Ichigyo, Takumi Kitamura as Naomi Katagaki, Tori Matsuzaka as Naomi Katagaki (older), Takehito Koyasu as Tsunehisa Senko, Minako Kotobuki as Ii Shizuka, Haruka Fukuhara as Mirei Kadenokōji, and Rie Kugimiya as Karasu.
