Naputaaku made for a great comedic punch bag. He’s adorable when he tries to act tough but is a weakling.

What They Say:
The God of Destruction Magu Menueku has been summoned by the Chaos Cult. Humanity’s last hope is the honorable Holy Knights! The battle to save mankind…took place hundreds of years ago… But now a girl out in the country named Ruru releases the legendary god of destruction who had been trapped in a magical jewel! Will the natto-eating, destruction beam-blasting Magu-chan fill the world with complete chaos? This heart-warming, destructive comedy series is ready to explode onto the scene!

Content: (please note that content portions of a review may contain spoilers):
This series is getting better with creating moments of ridiculous comedy. Ren is enamored by Ruru and wants to do everything he can to protect her. He goes out for a run to improve his body. While on his run, he sees Naputaaku and his hermit crab army diving into trash cans for food. Naputaaku gets excited as he finds meat and prospers at the chance of eating it. The two discuss their hatred of Magu. The enemy of my enemy is my friend is a perfect description of what happens with these two. These two unite to destroy Magu-chan’s friendship book.

Naputaaku and Ren have created an alliance but Naputaaku makes Ren do all the work. Ren sneaks into Ruru’s house to search for Magu-chan’s friendship book. He encounters Magu-chan who torments Ren to no end. Ren convinces Magu-chan by telling him that he has a friend who wants to join him. Magu-chan doesn’t question his lie and is thrilled that Ren is doing him favors. Magu-chan looks for the book in his void and pulls out a bunch of random weapons. Somehow, Ren ends up in Magu-chan void but not much is shown of the void.

Everything goes to hell for Naputaaku. No one wants to be his friend as he hides in the background. Ren reads Magu-chan book and acknowledges that Magu-chan has become like family to Ruru. He wants the best for her and will do anything for her. He breaks up the Victims Alliance and betrays Naputaaku. Things can only up from this point. Unfortunately, things go down for Naputaaku. His hermit crab army has had enough of him and throws him into the burning trash can. Ren watches with utter horror as Naputaaku is burned alive and everyone ends up happy.

In Summary:
Naputaaku made for a great comedic punch bag. He’s adorable when he tries to act tough but is a weakling. Having Ren and Naputaaku make an alliance to destroy Magu-chan’s book was amusing. They had laughable banter as they discussed all the ways they been wronged by Magu-chan. I wished their alliance lasted more than one chapter. This is the second time that Magu-chan void has been mentioned and I want that aspect explored more. This chapter only provided a small window into his void. The art in this series has points where it’s improving. When Ren stands up to Naputaaku, he has a serious look that is markedly defined. There are only a few instances in this chapter where faces are drawn badly. Progress is steadily being made to deal with that flaw.
