The story follows a man’s journey seeking revenge on a dragon who stole his heart.

Part of a slate of titles Netflix revealed back in the summer of 2019 as their expansion into the anime side of things, we learned about the Dragon’s Dogma project. Based on the game series of the same name, Netflix has now dropped a new visual for it, confirmed a September 17th, 2020 debut, and dug into the staff for it ahead of its worldwide debut.

The series is directed by Shin’ya Sugai based on the series scripts by Kurasumi Sunayama. Iku Nishimura is on board for the character designs with studio Sublimation handling the production. Several folks from CAPCOM are naturally on board as producers.

Check out a few shots from the show Tweeted out by Netflix below.

Plot Concept: The story follows a man’s journey seeking revenge on a dragon who stole his heart. On his way, the man is brought back to life as an ‘Arisen’. An action-adventure about a man challenged by demons who represent the seven deadly sins of humans.
