The TV side of the Hunter x Hunter franchise has wrapped up its North American release on home video through Viz Media and now we’re seeing some new streaming distribution for it. Funimation is helping to bring the series to the UK and Ireland with it making its debut on July 17th, 2020. They’ve got the full 148-episode run that will be going there in Japanese and English with English subtitles.

The series originally ran from 2011 to 2014 and had a couple of movies along the way as it adapted the original manga by Yoshihiro Togashi more faithfully.

Plot Concept: Titans collide as the strongest of the Hunters faces the strongest of the Chimera Ants! It’s Chairman Netero versus the King in a battle so powerful it shakes the foundations of the planet and threatens the very heavens! Then the entire Hunter Organization gathers to make an important decision, including Gon’s father! Will he finally meet his dad?
