The summer 2020 anime adaptation of Take’s manga series Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out! is getting its simulcast streaming handled by Funimation which launched with a July 10th, 2020 debut. As the series is underway, the official Japanese site has dropped a new teaser for the second episode that’s due out on July 17th, 2020 which you can see below and get excited for.
The series has Kazuya Miura directing it based on the scripts overseen by Takashi Aoshima. Manabu Kurihara is handling the character designs with ENGI handling the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes Naomi Ōzora as Hana Uzaki, Kenji Akabane as Shinichi Sakurai, Ayana Taketatsu as Ami Asai, Tomoya Takagi as Itsuhito Sakaki, Yosuke Akimoto as Master, and Saori Hayami as Tsuki Uzaki.
The series features “Nadamesukashi Negotiation” by Kano and Naomi Ōzora as the opening theme song.
The property by Take is serialized in Dragon Age magazine and began in 2017 and it has four volumes out so far in Japan.
