Nodoka forgot her recorder for music class at home. Oh no! That’s okay though, Rabirin has got her back! She brings Nodoka the recorder. Yay! That’s what friends are for. One the way back home with the other fairy animals, Rabirin spots a weird-looking Daruma doll. Pegitan and Nyatoran think it’s ugly. She agrees with them but deep down, she thinks it’s adorable. She just didn’t want to be made fun of. Later that night, Nodoka catches her looking at a Lavendaruma-chan poster. Rabirin is embarrassed but Nodoka remarks that the doll looks cute! There’s a stamp rally tomorrow where you can get a Lavendaruma doll as a prize. Nodoka agrees to do it for Rabirin. That’s what friends are for!
The next day, they head to the cafe that’s hosting the stamp rally. Surprisingly, no one else is there. They’re the only ones. I guess that Lavendaruma didn’t do a good job of attracting people. It’s fine. That means they’re guaranteed to get a doll! Nodoka does a whole bunch of lavender-related activities in order to complete her stamp card. Once she does, the Lavendaruma doll is hers. Success! Rabirin is super stoked they got the doll. As they’re heading back, they bump into Hinata and Nyatoran. Nyatoran starts poking fun at Rabirin for liking that uncool Daruma doll. She denies it though. She would never like such an ugly thing. Nodoka wonders why she’s lying. They had so much fun today. Rabirin yells at Nodoka and then slams the doll onto the ground. Hey. that was rude. Nodoka calls her mean. Yeah? Well, Rabirin thinks Nodoka is the mean one! Aww, why did they have to fight?
Later that night, Nodoka and Rabirin don’t speak to each other. Nodoka goes to bed with a pain in her chest. She’s not sick though. What’s wrong? It must be because this is her first fight with a friend. The next, the girls try to cheer Nodoka up. At the same time, Nyatoran apologizes to Rabirin for yesterday. Even though that doll isn’t cute, he’s sorry. It doesn’t look like Nodoka or Rabirin are feeling any better though. They should really talk to each other and make amends. But before that can happen, Daruizen shows up and creates a Mega Byo-gen from a tea pitcher. It’s time to transform into Precure! However, something odd happens. Nodoka can’t transform into Cure Grace! It must because she and Rabirin are still fighting. This leaves Cure Fontaine and Cure Sparkle to fight without her. How long can they last without her? Latte forces Nodoka and Rabirin to talk with each other and make up. Nodoka apologizes for being insensitive to Rabirin’s feelings. Rabirin apologizes for making her apologize. She got mad for no reason yesterday and was scared to say sorry because she thought Nodoka would hate her. It was painful for her. But you know what? It was also painful for Nodoka. She never wants to feel like that again. She doesn’t want their friendship to end! What about Rabirin? She doesn’t want it to end, either! Friends? Friends! I’m glad they made up.
Now that the apologies are out of the way, Nodoka can finally turn into Cure Grace. Once she does, she gives that Mega Byo-gen a good few kicks before scanning it to find the Leaf Elemental. One Pretty Cure Healing Oasis later, and the Mega Byo-gen is defeated. The Leaf Elemental has been saved. Healin’ goodbye! Nodoka and Rabirin apologize to the others for the trouble they caused. They spend the rest of the day doing another stamp rally to get yet another Lavendaruma doll. Now they each have one! They realize that friends may fight, but they can also make peace. Friends don’t let silly fights ruin their friendship!
This was an interesting episode to follow the one from last week. We learned last week that Nodoka is pretty much healthy now. In this episode, she had to deal with a bit of emotional pain because of her first quarrel with a comrade. Getting into a fight with a friend always sucks. It’s unavoidable really. True friends don’t let silly fights ruin their friendship though. Sure, you may be sad or angry. But friends can always make up. It’s a nice lesson to learn! The power of friendship should always prevail.
