Sentai Filmworks back in 2016 picked up the rights to the 2010 TV series Cobra The Animation but after all this time never got a trailer onto their main channel for it. We’ve seen it in a few other places but it’s great to finally have it in the main location with all the other Sentai releases. The show is still in print and can be found streaming on HIDIVE these days.
The series was directed by Keizou Shimizu who also did the character designs for them along with Akio Sugino based on Buichi Terasawa’s original work. Kazumi Koide handled the series composition while Magic Bus handled the anime production itself.
The property previously saw a streaming run through Crunchyroll when it first came out.
