Nodoka is at the hospital for her checkup. Her parents are eager to know her test results. It turns out that she’s perfectly healthy! That’s great news! How did she get to be so healthy? That’s a good question. For now, it’s time to celebrate! Nodoka decides to spend the day at the Sukoyaka Festival. She meets Hinata there who treats her to pancakes that she made. It’s nice to see Hinata smiling and not feeling depressed. They run into Chiyu a bit later and they sample all the delicious food that the festival has to offer. They take a break at the footbath and eat some of the famous Sukoyaka sweet buns. They’re super yummy! Hilariously, they each eat a bun that matches their PreCure colors. Nodoka tells the others that the doctor gave her a clean bill of health. They’re so happy for her! It must be the power of PreCure! Or maybe the hot springs? Who knows!? What I do know is that these girls are still hungry. Thus, it’s time to sample more festival food.

While the girls are having fun, Rabirin leads the other fairy partners on a journey to find more sweet buns. They were just so delicious. She needs more! Rabirin comes across a flyer for a contest where the winner gets a hundred Sukoyaka sweet buns as a prize. Score! Elsewhere, Nodoka wonders where Rabirin went. On the subject of sweet buns though, the two guys selling them can’t make them anymore. The steamer broke. That’s unfortunate but it’s not a problem! Everyone at the festival is willing to give them a hand. The people of this town have got each other’s backs. You love to see that! In no time, Sukoyaka sweet buns are back on the market. An old lady sitting on a bench tells the girls that this town has always been like this. For as long as she can remember, the people of this town joined forces every time. People help each other when needed. Hey, maybe that’s why Nodoka got better! The town has been giving her good vibes.

It’s a shame that those good vibes are about to become bad vibes. Batetemoda shows up and creates a Mega Byo-gen from a toy fan. Needless to say, the girls aren’t fans. Okay, that was a terrible joke. I’m sorry. Anywho, how dare they try to ruin this festival!?!? It’s time for the PreCure to kick some butt. The girls transform and square off against their enemy. The Mega Byo-gen sends them flying with its wind attack. I guess defeating it isn’t going to be a breeze. I apologize for another terrible joke! A scan reveals that it has corrupted the Element of Wind. The PreCure aren’t faring well against the Mega Byo-gen. But they refuse to let it ruin the festival! Cure Sparkle uses the bottle of lightning and manages to immobilize their foe. This gives them the chance to purify it with their Pretty Cure Healing Oasis attack. Byo-gen defeated, Element rescued. The festival is saved! Healin’ goodbye!

Afterward, the Element of Wind tells the girls of the previous PreCure before them. She was a human who was Lady Teaeine’s partner. She also lived in this town! She healed humans, animals, and Elements by playing music for them. Perhaps that’s the secret to this town’s energy? Nodoka strives to be a PreCure just like her. The episode ends with her winning a speaking the loudest contest. The prize? A hundred Sukoyaka sweet buns. Yeah, Rabirin conned the girls into entering the contest, haha. On the bright side, there are sweet buns for everyone!

In Summary:
This was a rather nice and heartwarming episode. At the beginning of the series, Nodoka was pretty sickly. But look at her now! She’s having so much fun every day. It’s great to see. She’s living life to the fullest right now. It really warms the heart. I’m interested in learning more about the previous PreCure. We already know that she’ll show up later in the season. I’ll be looking forward to her appearance.
