The mobile game for Lapis Re:LiGHTs is moving into some new territory with an anime adaptation in the works that’s scheduled for a July 4th, 2020 debut in Japan. Funimation has now announced that they’ll be simulcasting the series at the same time and launched their English-subtitled trailer for it below.
Hiroyuki Hata is directing the show with Hajim Asanoe and Kasumi Tsuchida are overseeing the scripts for it. Taro Ikegami is handling the character designs while Yokohama Animation Labs is on board for the animation production. Check out the new promo below for the show.
