This week, Idea Factory International announced an iffy-cial website update that shares dungeon screenshots and new characters for the upcoming horror-inspired RPG, Death end re;Quest 2! Take a look into the mysterious town of Le Choara, a quaint town by day, but an eerie nightmare by night.

Synopsis: Death end re;Quest 2 launches for the PlayStation®4 on August 25 in North America and August 28 in Europe! The Steam® version will release worldwide on August 25.

The Steam version will contain the original Glitch costumes for the first game’s characters and will have English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese subtitles. The first game’s characters only appear in their Glitch costumes during battle and in the main menu. The Steam version will implement the original Glitch costumes in both instances.

Players will see the story through the eyes of Mai Toyama, as she searches for her younger sister in the mysterious town of Le Choara. The town has many hidden secrets that players will begin to discover over time, and may even run into a few familiar characters.
