‘A Certain Scientific Accelerator’ Manga Ending Scheduled

The summer 2019 anime series A Certain Scientific Accelerator, a spinoff from the overall A Certain Magical Index franchise, is based on the manga that Arata Yamaji worked that. The series originally began in 2013 and Seven Seas Entertainment picked it up for release back in 2015. With the anime having wrapped up from its run last year, the manga itself is now set to end with the next installment in Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh due out on July 27th, 2020. It’s had eleven volumes released so far with the twelfth and final to be scheduled, making for a good run for the character.

Nobuharu Kamanaka directed the anime adaptation based on the series composition by Kenji Sugihara. Yohei Yaegashi worked on the character design work with JC Staff producing the animation.

The Japanese cast includes Nobuhiko Okamoto as Accelerator, Rina Hidaka as Last Order, Sayumi Watabe as Kato, Nozomi Sasaki as Sisters, Yuko Kaida as Aiho Yomikawa, Ryota Ohsaka as Mikihiko Hishigata, Ayumi Mano as Hiromi Hishigata, Akane Fujita as Leader, Aoi Koga as Naru, Yuka Nukui as Seike, Nozomi Nishida as Yakumaru, Akane Fujita as Leader, Aoi Koga as Naru, Yuka Nukui as Seike, and Nozomi Nishida as Yakumaru

THE SIXTH LIE are performing the opening theme song “Shadow is the Light,” and sajou no hana are performing the ending theme song “Parole.”

Plot concept: Toaru Kagaku no Accelerator, which Accelerator is the main character. The events of the manga occur after his defeat at the hands of Kamijou Touma and the gunshot wound that he received at the hands of Amai Ao, though it is later revealed that the manga takes place prior to meeting Yomikawa Aiho.
