The spring 2020 anime series Tsugu Tsugumomo is getting its home video releases handled by Toei Animation and they’ve set a familiar approach to it. The series is getting done as a four-volume release for its twelve-episode run that began on June 10th, 2020. The latest piece to arrive is the full packaging spread for the second volume in the series which again ups the naughty factor. The DVDs are priced at 5,000 yen while the Blu-rays are priced at 8,000 yen each. Check out the known schedule below.

The series has set Ryouichi Kuraya as both the director and working on the series composition, which you don’t see often. Kiyotaka Nakahara is on board as the character designer and working as the chief animation director along with Masaaki Sakurai. Zero-G is on board to produce the animation for it.
The previously confirmed Japanese cast includes Yuuko Sanpei as Kazuya Kagami, Naomi Oozora as Kiriha, Yurika Kubo as Kukuri, Eriko Matsui as Kokuyou, Noriko Shibasaki as Chikaishi Chisato, You Taichi as Sunao Sumeragi, Ayana Taketatsu as Kasumi Kagami, Sachi Kokuryu as Shirou Shiramine, Shiho Sasaki as Osamu Osanai, Kotono Mitsuishi as Kanaka Kagami, Rumi Ookubo as Kotetsu and M.A.O as Taguri Kanayama. Additional cast includes Shogo Sakata as Akito Ashimine, Riho Sugiyama as Arumi Ashimine, Mami Uchida as Mimane Miyou, and Yūko Ōno as Azami. Additional casting includes Kaede Yuasa as the pillow tsugumomo Bakura and Sora Tokui as the flute tsugumomo Kyōka.
AOP will be on board for the opening theme song “Kaze Fukeba Tsukiyo no Hate ni” while Haruka Tojo will be performing the ending theme song “Haru, Kanade”.
The opening theme song for the first season was performed by Band Ja Naimon! while the ending theme song was performed by MICHI.
The property began its serialization in Monthly Action magazine back in 2007 and has had a solid run ever since.

Plot concept: Kazuya Kagami never goes anywhere without the precious “Sakura Obi” his mother gave him. One day a beautiful, kimono-clad girl named Kiriha appeared before him, and began to live in Kazuya’s room. Then there’s Chisato, Kazuya’s childhood friend with glasses and a ponytail, who likes to meddle with his affairs. Soon, there’s also an overprotective sister who seems to want to take baths with him. Jumble in a huge-chested priestess, a good-looking sorceress named Kokuyoura, beautiful women, and hot girls, Kazuya’s happy, embarrassing, and confusing life begins…
