It’s The Last Goodbye In The Latest ‘My Next Life as a Villainess’ Anime Clip

The 2020 anime adaptation of the light novel series My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! is moving right along and we saw back on May 16th the launch of the dub of the show on the Crunchyroll service. With new episodes being released weekly, they’ve now added their latest clip to streaming which gives folks a chance to check out the way it turned out. This one brings us a dramatic piece from the eleventh episode where Catarina is called back to her world as her best friend bids her goodbye.

Crunchyroll is bringing it to viewers in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, and the Middle East. Check out their subtitled trailer below.

Keisuke Inoue directing based on the scripts coming from Megumi Shimizu. Miwa Oshima is handling the character designs with Silver Link handling the animation production.

The Japanese cast includes Shouta Aoi as Gerald Stuart, Asami Seto as Gerald Stuart, Tetsuya Kakihara as Keith Claes, Sora Amamiya as Keith Claes (in early childhood), Tatsuhisa Suzuki as Alan Stuart, Mutsumi Tamura as Alan Stuart (in early childhood), Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Nicole Ascart, M.A.O as Nicole Ascart (in early childhood), and Maaya Uchida has been cast as Katarina Claes.

The English cast includes Jeannie Tirado as Catarina Claes, Bryce Papenbrook as Alan Stuart, Colleen O’Shaughnessey as Mary Hunt, Griffin Burns as Geordo Stuart, Griffin Puatu as Keith Claes, Kira Buckland as Sophia Ascart, Melissa Fahn as Maria Campbell, and Nicolas Roye as Nicol Ascart.

J-Novel Club has been bringing the novels out digitally on their site and through select services while Seven Seas Entertainment has print and digital editions being handled for the manga and print editions of the novels.

Plot Concept: Wealthy heiress Katarina Claes is hit in the head with a rock and recovers the memories of her past life. It turns out the world she lives in is the world of the game Fortune Lover, an otome game she was obsessed with in her past life… but she’s been cast as the villain character who tries to foil the protagonist’s romances! The best ending the game has for Katarina is exile, and the worst, death! She’ll have to find a way to avoid triggering the flags of doom, and make her own happy future! The misunderstanding-based screwball love comedy now begins!
