Funimation Adds ‘Classroom☆Crisis’ Anime Streaming

Classroom Crisis HuluThe Aniplex USA release of the Classroom Crisis anime series has made its way over to the Funimation streaming service as part of the growing partnership between the two companies. The full thirteen-episode run is now available in its original Japanese with English subtitles. Availability is set to the US, Canada, UK, and Ireland where Aniplex USA currently holds rights to it.

The TV series was directed by Kenji Nagasaki with Fumiaki Maruto handling the scripts and overall supervision of that for the show that was animated by Lay-duce. Hiro Kanzaki worked on the character designs for it.

The cast includes Showtaro Morikubo as Kaito Sera, Sora Amemiya as Iris Shirasaki, Ari Ozawa as Mizuki Sera, Aya Suzaki as Hanaoka Tsubasa, Shiina Natsukawa as Aki Kaminagaya, Minami Tsuda as Makoto Ryouke, Toshiyuki Toyonaga as Kojiro Kitahara, Yui Horie as Kaoruko Takanashi and Kana Asumi as Yuna Nouen.

Plot concept: With aims to one day reach out into the stars, humanity has colonized all the planets of the solar system. This story of young high school hopefuls is set in Fourth Tokyo in a Japanese Martian prefecture. Iris Shirasaki is a third year student/aspiring test pilot. Mizuki Sera is her peer/mechanic and Mizuki’s brother Kaito is their homeroom teacher and the young director of the program developing their talents.
