11th ‘Shachibato! President, It’s Time for Battle!’ Anime Episode Previewed

A new anime TV series was announced at the end of 2019 with the game Shachō, Battle no Jikan Desu!, aka President, It’s Time for Battle!). The series was set with an April 5th, 2020 debut, and Funimation revealed that they’ll be involved with the series as part of their spring season. The show is getting ready for its 11th episode that’s coming up on June 21st, 2020 and now the first preview for it has arrived.

The Funimation streaming service will bring out the show in its original Japanese language with English subtitles and a SimulDub will be produced as well.

The series is directed by Hiroki Ikeshita based on the series composition by Kenta Ihara. Keisuke Watanabe is handling the character designs while C2C is handling the animation production.

The Japanese cast includes Yui Horie as Guide, Yoshino Aoyama as Makoto, Azumi Waki as Akari, Shun Horie as Minato, Kana Ichinose as Yutoria, Sumire Uesaka as Valmi, and Taku Yashiro as Raiba.

Azumi Waki will perform the opening theme song “Hurry Love,” while Kana Ichinose performs the ending theme song “Oyasumi” in-character.

Plot Concept: Shachibato! takes place in the city of Gatepia, which was developed close to the Gate, where citizens gain access to Kirakuri, an energy fundamental to their way of the life and to humanity.

But there’s competition in Gatepia, as thousands of corporations seek to become the strongest and obtain the most Kirakuri. Main character Minato, the newest president of Kibo Company, is looking to make it big by hiring the best employees to become the greatest fantasy adventuring company ever!
