The Weekly Comics Discussion Post For June 14th, 2020

After working through a good run of books last week and seeing new things starting to hit, we’re definitely feeling the comics vibe again. With the publishers coming back online and distribution opening up, we’ve got more new books coming in soon that will get people talking again. The folks at Diamond have their look at what’s coming out on June 17th, 2020 as well here.

A lot of what’s gone on in regards to the news front has been focused on the distribution changes going on but we also had the tragic news of Denny O’Neil passing away at 81. One of the true masters of the art that guided so many other great talents over the years as well, he’s left an immense library of work for people to savor and enjoy for decades to come.

One new series announced I’m looking forward to is the Hellblazer: Rise and Fall Black Label series. It’s a three-part Prestige series so I’ll be waiting on a cheap trade.
