Bandai Visual has another piece of Gundam history getting a 4K UHD Blu-ray release with Mobile Suit Gundam Char’s Counterattack previously lined up. After bringing out a priced-down regular Blu-ray in September 2019, the 4K UHD edition was set for a June 24th, 2020 debut. Unfortunately, as the cascade of delays hits due to replication and packaging facilities being offline, releases are being pushed back indefinitely and this one was added to the list.

The release has now been rescheduling for an October 28th, 2020 debut where it’ll be priced at 9,200 yen and will include English subtitles only on the regular edition Blu-ray that’s included. It’ll come with a 100p book of materials while on-disc extras include the trailer and specials. Check out the newly revealed packaging below as well.
