The winter and summer 2020 anime series A3! got underway normally back in January when it launched but by the time the fourth episode was supposed to hit we ended up with a couple of delays. That season of the series debuted on April 6th, 2020 from the beginning and now things are getting ready to move into the next phase after spring with summer. That has the Funimation rolling out a new promotional video for the arc in its subtitled form for fans to check out.

The series will be directed by Keisuke Shinohara based on the series composition by Naoki Hayashi. Mariko Komatsu is handling the character designs and serving as the chief animation director with P.A. Works and Studio 3Hz handling the animation production.

The summer troupe cast includes Takuya Eguchi as Tenma Sumeragi, Shunichi Toki as Yuki Rurikawa, Yoshitaka Yamaya as Muku Sakisaka, Daisuke Hirose as Misumi Ikaruga, and Ren Ozawa as Kazunari Miyoshi.

The series features the opening theme song “Act! Addict! Actors!” by A3ders! and the ending theme song “HOME” by Spring.

Plot Concept: Mankai Company is a far cry from its glory days as an all-male theater. With only one member left and debt collectors at the door, it’s no wonder Izumi Tachibana finds herself in over her head when she boldly confronts the Yakuza’s loan sharks, promising to bring her father’s theater back into the spotlight. She might be able to recruit enough talent, but can they bloom into the actors she needs?
