The Lupin the 3rd franchise moved into its next phase, one that creator Monkey Punch was excited about before his passing last year, with Lupin III THE FIRST. The film saw a December 6th, 2019 debut where it was written and directed by Takashi Yamazaki, who worked on Stand By Me Doraemon and the Dragon Quest: Your Story 3DCG films.
Previously, VAP has set the home video release details where the film arrived with a June 3rd, 2020 debut. It’ll get regular edition DVD and Blu-ray releases priced at 3,333 yen and 4,800 yen respectively as well as a limited edition Blu-ray priced at 8,800 yen. The distributor has now brought out a new brief promo showing off some of the special edition bonus material.
The new characters include Suzu Hirose as Luticia, Kōtarō Yoshida as Lambert, and Tatsuya Fujiwara as Geralt.

He is constantly pursued by Inspector Zenigata, and often accompanied by a group of not so faithful accomplices as he attempts some of the most outrageous thefts of all time, or deals with the many, many people that want him dead.
