Classic ‘Superman Vs. Wonder Woman’ Treasury-Sized Release Getting New Hardcover Edition

1 min read
The unforgettable clash of Superman and Wonder Woman from 1978 is reprinted in its original, tabloid-size format for the first time.

It’s 1978 all over again as DC Comics is taking a book from 1978 and giving it a big splashy new hardcover edition, just in time for Christmas, with the Superman Vs. Wonder Woman special. Set for a December 8th, 2020 debut, it’ll reprint the original work in its original size of 10″ x 13.5″ featuring the story by Gerry Conway with artwork by Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez and inking by Dan Adkins.

It’ll be priced at $39.99 and is 72 pages.

Plot Concept: This tabloid-sized epic from 1978 tells the tale of a forgotten chapter of World War II in which Superman and Wonder Woman cross paths while the United States stands at the brink of developing nuclear weapons. And while Superman sees their potential to stop the Axis, Wonder Woman is determined to destroy them before innocent lives are lost! But before this powerful twosome can settle their differences, they will have to face the super-powered menaces of Baron Blitzkrieg and the mysterious samurai known as Sumo!
