The Haikyu!! anime series continues to draw in new fans while keeping existing fans very entertained as they wait for more material to get animated. Coming from the manga by Haruichi Furudate, the folks at Crunchyroll have been handling the streaming of the past seasons and specials that have come out. They’re doing some new promotion for one of their more evergreen shows now with a new clip from the 18th episode of the second season of the series where it’s the critical match point against Wakutani and there’s definitely a rally moment!

The series was directed by Susumu Mitsumaka for the first three seasons and Masako Sato for the fourth season. Taku Kishimoto handled the series composition with Takahiro Kishida adapting the character designs. The animation production was handled by Production I.G.

Plot Concept: Haikyu!! is a slice-of-life sports anime revolving around Shoyo Hinata’s love of volleyball. Inspired by a small-statured pro volleyball player, Hinata creates a volleyball team in his last year of middle school. Unfortunately, the team is matched up against the “King of the Court” Tobio Kageyama’s team in their first tournament and inevitably lose. After the crushing defeat, Hinata vows to surpass Kageyama After entering high school, Hinata joins the volleyball team only to find that Tobio has also joined.
