The folks at P.A. Works have a new series coming up this year working with Key and Jun Maeda with The Day I Became a God, aka Kami-sama ni Natta Hi. The project, which had its audio work recorded prior to the pandemic according to the site, is locked in for an October 2020 premiere and is reassuring viewers that it’ll hit this target even with what’s going on.

When it was revealed a couple of weeks ago, they avoided talking about who would be in the lead role even though it was all recorded. Now, the official site has updated to reveal that Ayane Sakura of Charlotte will be taking on the role which reunites her with newly revealed director Yoshiyuki Asai.

The original project features original character designs by Na-Ga with Jun Maeda handling the script.

Check out the official site and Twitter.

Plot Concept: The day she became a god, the world veered toward the end times.
