The winter 2020 original anime series Number24 is getting its home video releases handled by Movic and they’ve set a standard release planned for it. The twelve-episode anime series is getting a six-volume release on Blu-ray only that began on April 24th, 2020. The second volume is coming up on May 29th, 2020 and the very shirtless version of that has now been expanded as we’ve got the full packaging spread for it – and for the first volume! The Blu-rays are all priced at 6,800 yen and the full schedule is available below with known bonuses.
The series has Shigure Kimiya directing from an original idea by Kei Mori and MOVIC. Rika Nakase is working on the series composition while Saori Sakaguchi is handling the character designs by YukiKana.
The Japanese cast includes Kengo Kawanishi as Natsusa Yuzuki, Ryōta Suzuki as Seiichirō Jingyōji, Junichi Yanagita as Ibuki Ueoka, Shohei Komatsu as Yasunari Tsuru, Ayumu Murase as Yū Mashiro, Hinata Tadokoro as Gakuto Zaitsu, Shinnosuke Tachibana as Ikuto Yufu, Makoto Furukawa as Taisei Uchinashi, Kazuyuki Okitsu as Ethan Taylor, Sōma Saitō as Madoka Hongō, Kaito Ishikawa as Kazutaka Hongō, Kōhei Amasaki as Kotori Kureha, Gakuto Kajiwara as Shōta U, Atsushi Taniguchi as Sōsuke Yamada, Yūki Ishikari as Atomu Gotō, Ryūma Kuno as Pongsaklek Yunu, Shougo Yano as Takumi Hidaka, Daichi Kanbara as Toranoshin Higashizaka, Masanori Kobayashi as Yūki Koreeda, and Yūta Hayama as Shinya Ishigami.
Masanori Kobayashi is performing the opening theme song “Set” while there will be three different ending songs. Kengo Kawanishi and Ryōta Suzuki as set with “Kimi to Iru nara,” Kawanishi and Junichi Yanagita will perform “Comical Try!!,” while Kawanishi and Shōhei Komatsu will perform “Every Fight.”

Plot Concept: Natsusa Yuzuki expects to be an ace on the rugby team when he enrolls in college. However, he is no longer able to play rugby due to certain circumstances. Ibuki Ueoka is an older fellow student who quit rugby. Yasunari Tsuru is a younger student who finds Natsusa disagreeable. Yū Mashiro is a younger student who admires and follows Natsusa. Seiichirō Shingyō is Natsusa’s close childhood friend. Together, they compete in the Kansai university rugby league.
