We learned way back in February 2018 that the folks at Cygames are advancing another one of their properties to the anime side with an adaptation announced for Princess Connect! Re:Dive. With the series underway and Crunchyroll having picked up streaming rights, we’re doing a little catch-up as we had missed notifications on episode previews. The 7th episode came out this past Monday and it looks like they drop previews the same day, which is uncommon but not unheard of, so we’ve added that promo below. Now that we’re back on track we’ll hopefully have the previews up before they air on Monday’s at 12:30 pm on Crunchyroll.

Crunchyroll’s pickup of the series has it set for a same-day simulcast at 12:30 pm ET for their members. Availability is set for audiences in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS.

The show has Takaomi Kanasaki directing based on the series composition from Cygames Pictures group. Lie Jun Yang and Yasuyuki Noda are working on the character designs for it.

The Japanese cast includes M.A.O as Pecorine, Miku Itō as Kokkoro, Rika Tachibana as Kyaru, Atsushi Abe as Yūki, Rie Takahashi as Amesu, Miyuki Sawashiro as Rabirista, Aya Suzaki as Karin, Rina Hidaka as Mimi, Sumire Morohoshi as Misogi, and Yui Ogura as Kyōka.

Plot Concept: In the beautiful land of Astraea where a gentle breeze blows, a young man named Yuuki awakens with no memory of his past. There he encounters a guide who has sworn to care for him—Kokkoro, a lovely swordswoman who’s always feeling peckish—Pecorine, and a cat-eared sorceress with a prickly attitude—Karyl. Led by fate, these four come together to form the “Gourmet Guild.” And so their adventure begins… less
