Another light novel series is on the path to becoming an anime as that fertile industry continues to be courted. We learned in October 2019 that the light novel series Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World, also known as Kimi to Boku no Saigo no Senjō, Arui wa Sekai ga Hajimaru Seisen. Now, the official site has brought out the first promotional video as well as a look at the cast for it.
The initial casting includes:
- Yūsuke Kobayashi as Iska
- Sora Amamiya as Aliceliese Lou Nebulis IX

The project will be directed by Shin Oonuma and Mirai Minato based on the series composition by Kento Shimoyama. Kaori Sato is handling the character designs while serving as the chief animation director with production handled by Silver Link.
The series comes from writer Kei Sazane and illustrator Ao Nekonabe which began in 2017 and has seven volumes out so far. A manga adaptation kicked off in 2018 with Okama handling that as serialized in Young Animal magazine. Yen Press is releasing both in English in North America.
