The PoPiPa girls have gathered at the Yamabuki Bakery for the first-ever new product meeting! As the name of the meeting suggests, they’re here to help Saya come up with new ideas for the bakery. Rimi suggests a fried shrimp burger. Hey, that’s not a pastry! Remember, this is a bakery we’re talking about. I’d try it though. Kasumi suggests a sparkling bun that’d be filled with excitement and make your heart go doki doki! Never change, Kasumi. Chicky and bunny buns are the next ideas to be proposed. Tae objects to the bunny bun because she’d feel guilty eating it, haha. Adorable. Arisa brings up the idea of a red bean jelly bun. But…that’s basically a regular red bean bun. It’s okay, Arisa! At least you tried.

Rimi drools at the thought of a parfait cornet. That actually sounds pretty good! Granted, it’s not practical. Come on, girls! What other ideas do you have? Steel bun? That’s an instrument pun! Magpie? That’s a bird! Cow pie!? Gross! Gosh, thinking of a new idea is hard. The girls spend the whole day trying to come up with one but to no avail. They’re worn out, especially Rimi. In her own words, “no thoughts, head empty.” This is the funniest line I’ve heard all week. And now I’m dying of laughter.

Kasumi refuses to give up! She recommends the Poppin’Pastry. Okay, what’s that? Well, it’s a pastry filled with everything they love. I’m not sure that would turn out well. But you know what? Kasumi believes that their flavors might come together to create a new harmony just like their band! I admire her optimism. Kasumi’s speech wins everyone over. Alright, let’s do it! They make the Poppin’Pastry which contains Salisbury steak, a chocolate cornet, rice, spaghetti peperoncino, and hard-boiled eggs! That doesn’t sound like a pastry at all. But hey, at least the girls are happy! They have faith that it will be a big hit tomorrow. Sadly, it’s not. It’s basically a Salisbury steak set and people aren’t usually looking for that in a bakery, haha.

In Summary:
Did this episode make anyone else hungry? Just me? Alright then. Anyway, this was another fun episode. I still can’t get over Rimi’s line! It was unexpected and it was way funnier than it had any right to be. Whoever did the subs for this episode deserves all the chocolate cornets. And for those of you who want to know if there were any deaths in this episode, there weren’t. Maybe next time! I’m trying to think of a witty line to end this review on but I can’t think of anything. No thoughts. Head empty.
