Violence Jack DVD CoverThe path for Violence Jack has taken it to a couple of distributors over the years with Discotek Media having it back in 2014 and releasing it on DVD. The series didn’t get much in the way of streaming distribution so it’s still not widely available overall. But the folks at RetroCrush are starting to give it some love with clips being made available for the first time to show it off as we’ve got a new all-action clip that proves this is definitely a Go Nagai property with lots of badass violence.

The show was originally released in 1986, 1988, and 1990 in Japan with different production teams working on it. The DVD-only release included the original Japanese language track with subtitles and the English language dub. They list that it will be the longer version as well, for those that are looking at the differences in the previous releases.
